What the ***** is Rooney doing in the squad? At the moment he's pants.

What is SWP and Lescott doing in there more like tudor? Same with lennon and joe cole, and even villa's stephen warnock...Capello hasn't got a clue.

hope your players come back in better shape then ours did last time!!! Good luck breaking the top 4 this year guys but not at our expense..coys

swp? joe feckin' cole? It pains me to say it, but azza? Kevin effing Davies? Joleon Lescott? And why the hell is Rooney anywhere close to the 'I'm picking them on merit' England squad? On current merit, the only squad Rooney will be picked for is Somalia's, as a late call-up replacement for Moalim Bader. And he should be bloody well be happy for it.

Completely agree with you villa and spur fans. SWP over Milner? Joe Cole?!!?? Rooney?!!?? why!? Is this the cream of the crop in English football?

Lescott is fine as a center back and while he tries his hardest at left back, is not very useful there, especially as a modern day left back while they are bombing forward. But Lescott is good enough to play for England as a CB, he rarely loses a header and is strong. He just doesn't seem fully fit to me, still sluggish since returning. SWP's inclusion is odd as he has been injured and not playing for us. Milner is suspended for 2 yellows or surely would be in. Also, Micah is better than Glen Johnson, not sure if Micah is fit yet but should at least be bench warming for England if Johnson is the automatic right-back.

Im sure milner is suspended though? but SWP i no he is a city player but surely you guys will think why? He has played little football, and done nothing for england in a long time...Might sound a bit biased but downing would of been much better or even etherington at stoke, someone new...Lescott is baffling also, shawcross or cahill would have been better + cole? lennon? warnock?

Milner is suspended.

I remember, he picked up that silly yellow in the last game. Lescott should only ever be considered for the CB role - at left back he just isnt good enough. Paired with Jagielka England have another good CB partnership besides Camelgob and cheating Terry.
