'If It's Football, It's Vital'

EDS Keeps On Rolling

If your good lady or better man is going shopping tomight then get yourself off to Ewen Fields, home of Hyde FC for the next instalment of City's elite Development Squad.

I have eulogised on many occasions about the quality coming through in this remarkable team and tonight will be no exception as we face Blackpool.

Because of international call-ups the City team has a youthful look about it tonight, but it still looks a strong line-up which includes several who have had a look at first team football.

City are unbeaten this season and only Arsenal who paraded a very strong line-up have taken any points away from us.

Fresh from having beaten West Brom, where Guidetti had his very own penalty shoot-out converting both of them and Mee scored late on, City face a Blackpool team hovering around the depths of their group but who will no doubt put up stern resistance, just as their first team did at Anfield over the weekend.

I expect us to be just too good for Blackpool tonight. Although Guidetti who looks to be heading for the first team will be absent, tonight's team will play with width and pace and it is primarily for those reasons that I think we will win tonight.

The line-up is:

Gonzales: Logan, Wabara, Mee, Chantler:
Kay, Etuhu, Ibrahim, Poole, Benali, McDermott

Don't forget it is ALL MUST PAY - £3 adults and £1 concessions
