He Needs To Buck Up Or Bugger Off

Emmanuel Adebayor should hang his head in shame after another piss-poor performance against Blackpool - put simply, he needs to buck up or bugger off.

Millions of us watched City scrape a narrow 3-2 win over the Seasiders at Bloomfield Road yesterday and for 65 minutes we watched Emmanuel Adebayor put in yet another well below par performance. I for one hate to slate any City player and appreciate all of us have a so-called 'bad day at the office' but the 26-year-old has convinced me he simply doesn't have what it takes to play for MCFC.

Weeks before the Citizens paid Arsenal £25million for the striker a mate of mine, who is a Gooner warned me of Ade's attitude and how right he was.

This is not the first time Adebayor has put in a shift whereby his body language has suggested he simply doesn't care whether he plays for Manchester City or not. In fact I'll describe this season's performance as...

Lethargic
Head in the clouds
Frustrating

It appears he has lost the ability to kick a ball never mind pass the darn thing and when he loses the leather object we call a football how about chasing back and try and win the thing. But no, he would rather stand still with hands on his hips and stare into the abyss. Take a leaf out of Carlos Tevez book for god sake man. Blimey, this bloke doesn't stop running and chasing.

I have nothing personally against the big fella but he has to buck up or bugger off.

Memories

If only he could find some of the form he once showed.

I watched you guys playing Juve a week or two ago, and he didn't look bothered then! If he's not interestd in playing juve in Europe, then he'll never be interested in playing Blackpool! Some on the Spurs website have suggested him, but I hope we don't even try. All the talent in the world, but can't be bothered to use it, a fans nightmare!
The Horses Mouth
He's made two or three public statements whereby he has threatened to leave if he does not get regular first team football. In response, Mancio has given him the floor and the service. Result nothing but offsides and lumbering runs into nowhere. I will reserve a judgment though because I'd like to see what happens once he gets a goal.

This guy is a awful man, never mind a footballer. Adebadbuyor is openly courting juventus and he took almost four weeks to decide to join city. Is heart was never in it and his recent behaviour should be no suprise because he was a clown at arsenal and hes a clown now. If he thinks he will get a first team start at juve, milan, lazio, barca, real, atletico, valencia, bayern, chelsea, etc hes having a laugh. Hes crap! Hes not a top player. Hes got worse since balotelli and silva joined because he cant handle competition, just like another idiot called stephen ireland. GET RID!!

Believe it or not 'Bugger Off' is far more eloquent than what I had in mind! I completely hold up my hands to Gooners who predicted trouble whilst I celebrated his signing. As the great Badly Drawn Boy song goes, You Were Right.

We're going to take a financial hit when we sell him but surely its worth it. Wonder if Arsenal would take him back?
Tudor
He hasnt done himself any favours, but Tevez was equally poor before we reverted to 4-5-1. I think too many people have been listening to bitter Arsenal fans about him being lazy. Scored 14 good goals last season and had a lot of problems off the pitch. We need to be getting behind him, not pushing him out. Are liverpool and United fans calling for Torres and Rooney to leave? Dont think so somehow.

Still, the Arsenal fans who did nothing but boo him even when he was scoring for them can bugger right off imo. His performance seemed disappointing yesterday but i won't start calling him names.

i think he has got all the talent to be a top footballer.May be he is not in the right form, right now. let us give him some time.If he plays against arsenal and scores against them, then it will be huge moral booster to revatilize his current form..Lets hope he do repeat his goal scoaring form and real worth.
