This was the close to the end of the controversial second coming of Malcolm Allison to Manchester City where backed heavily by Peter Swales in the transfer market he had thrown everything into his absolute belief that he could make The Blues great again.

This year has seen MCFC release the excellent Blue Moon Rising, but it's sheen and gloss cannot match the gripping intensity of CITY!, a documentary that we'll surely never see the like of again.

Big Mal's passion and love for the game, his modern thinking and flare for bringing young players on shine out through from what is an at times desperately painful story.

Big Mal loved Manchester City. You only have to look at those eyes on the bench that night at Elland Road to see that was a man who cared deeply.

Many Blues will find this emotional footage.
