Mancio Pondering Poznan Attacking Options

Roberto Mancini would certainly have preferred to rest the amazing Carlos Tevez for Thursday's Europa League clash ahead of L'Arsenal but will delay a decision by 24 hours...

Of City's striking weaponry, the hapless Roque Santa Cruz, Lazio bound at the time was not selected in City's Europa League Group Stage squad and Jo has picked up an unspecified knock.

Currently goalless but seeing plenty of action, Emmanuel Adebayor is likely to start but should things not go to plan, will Mancio be prepared to rely solely upon a player who of late has resembled a meandering offside specialist?

So it could well be that City's Captain and his 36 goals in 46 City starts will be asked to lead the line and get the job done as quickly as possible and then head for a rest.

Yet there is another option that the City boss might yet employ. Mario Balotelli has been in full training for over a week and might just get the nod for the substitutes bench.

City have an opportunity both home and away against a poorly performing Lech to break the back of this group and ensure progress in order to concentrate upon consolidating the club's promising Premier League position.

We need a win.
