City sign up new midfielder

The Manchester City website has confirmed that we have signed French international midfielder 29-year-old Ousmane Dabo , who becomes Psycho's third summer signing and joins on a three-year deal from Lazio.

Dabo has good pedigree having previously played for Inter Milan, Parma and Monaco and will bring a much needed boost in tenacity and quality to the centre of the park, having a bit of a reputation for being an " enforcer " . It looks like we'll have quite an 'abrasive' midfield next season with the return of Dickov and Barton, if he stays.

Dabo played 28 times for Lazio last season and has apparently chosen a move to Eastlands despite being offered a six-year deal to stay with the Italians.... how strange, but good news for City !

Quite what this means for Joey Barton remains to be seen, but as yet no other Premiership side are showing much interest in signing him, although it's not too difficult to inderstand why. There were murmurings that Everton might make a move, but Moyes has distanced himself from any speculation.

Is he a psycho of the french? He will certainly add some steel to your midfield next season, something i think you needed.

never heard of him, has he played for france yet in the world cup? he should be good

GG12 he wont be turning up at this world cup anytime soon, he is a "former" French international. Wouldn't be rushing out to say he is the buy of year but he does have some European experience and will add some bite to the midfield shame he is not a goal scorer.

A very shrewd 'Freebie' for a cash strapped Psycho.
