'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pathetic Performance Acknowledged By All

Our last Vital Manchester City front page poll question asked...

Performance Against Wolves?

The following result is in descending order.

Poor - 62%
Too frustrated to answer - 22%
Could have been better - 6%
Moderate - 4%
Average - 3%
Fair - 3%

It didn't need Einstein to work out what happened against Wolves on Saturday, yup, we were woeful in all departments. Read what Mancini and one or two others had to say on the teams performance here.

Our new poll asks...

In percentage terms how much faith do you have in Roberto Mancini's managerial prowess?

To vote, use the poll question to the right hand side of this article.

merlin
we lost to the 2x last year....something about those damn wolves
RagingSpur
Wait, aren't you a Chelsea fan, merlin? If so, I don't know where to start...
StuMCFC
He is Chelsea Stu, very short memory it seems, perhaps alzheimers is kicking in m, eh Merlin?
Bluedub
I think he is being sarcastic or joking stu and bluedub, get a sense of humour.
P.Avfc
No Merlin but it certainly does help ;), It will take City a few years and a settled team before we will win the league, Even though we do have the players we dont have a team YET, Most of the players play as individuals and thats no good and this wont change until we get a settled team and ship out a few of the deadwood, Each and every player think they have to do something special every week to stay in the team so they are trying to hard as individuals and this is no good because they are making the wrong decisions!, Heres an example v Lech Poznan last week AJ went on an amazing run he took on a few players and had a crack which came back off the bar! but if he hadnt of been so greedy alls he had to do was square it to Jo and it was in the net!, Tevez is often guilty of the same charge and tries to do to much himself he opts to shoot when theres a better option for a pass on (ok it comes off 30% of the time for Tevez but just think how good he/we would be if he didnt always play as an individual and turned some of that missing 70% into decision making), Now Silva here is a man who knows all about NOT playing as an individual and making correct decisions and until most City players are as unselfish as Silva we wont be winning the league

P.Avfc, Thats what happens after 3 years of constant greif from all corners of the globe You lose your sense of humour, Although i did see is as a joke, City fans and players for that matter are fed up with the constant barage of abuse! Anyway how are the City rejects doing at ur gaff? all playing nicely i hope ;)
mark.mcfc
Thanks for the input there P.Avfc, truly insightful as ever.
Bluedub
mark how is dunne a city reject? He would walk into your team now past kompany or toure and ireland was your best player 2 years ago so not exactly rejects haha! But they are doing fine mate, well ireland isn't as houllier prefers hard working players and not the ones with just skill but no work effort. How's milner going? What i have heard he had a good debut and has been poor since then, worth the 26m ;)
P.Avfc
Lost our sense of humour have we?
mark.mcfc
do you always rant? you could be on talksport
mark.mcfc
ah c'mon Mark, I know talksport is bad, but it's not that bad.
Bluedub
Ohhh i dunno Bluedub they do have stan the dogging man, And as far as i know City rejected Dunne and sold him which makes him a City reject in my eyes even thou i love the big fella!
mark.mcfc
True Mark, good point. Although if you had Stan and P.Avfc on the one show there'd be so much rabid ranting that they'd most likely drown in their own foam.
