Mercato Milan: Mario Balotelli

For the second time in as many days I find myself publishing a video clip in its native language. Yesterday it was Pablo Zabaleta talking in Spanish and today its Super Mario being filmed by Italian broadcaster Mediaset.

Many of us know Mario and Roberto Mancini went to the Milan game at the weekend and as you would expect the tabloids in the UK are making up stories on just how unsettled Balotelli is meant to be. Yeah right, it's obviously a slow news week.

For our Italian speaking readers - enjoy.

Hmm I dont know. I think you would be foolish if you think you're going to keep him for long. He expressed, while at Inter, a desire to join AC Milan and wasn't he caught wearing a AC Milan shirt as well? Also, when he joined City he expressed a desire to stay in Italy and learn his trait there. Now he has 'conincedently' been caught in the same restaurant as the AC Milan president. Then you've got Johnson saying he's willing to quit if first team football isn't offered to him, clearly unhappy with the squad rotation (which barely happens). Tevez recently admitting that if his daughters were to ask him to return to Argentina he would do so in a heartbeat. Yaya Toure leaving at half-time and squabbling amongst the players. Adebayor, Bellamy and Given all looking set to leave. Not to mention Mancini supposedly being under pressure (I dont believe that point myself). Should be interesting times ahead. Can i just say its fair enough securing the CL spot this season but eventially the financial fair play rules are going to catch up with you and that rediculous wage bill will mean some big names are going to be cut.

I take it you're referring to Garry Cook's comments there? Can I just remind you that the project set out by ADUG is set out over a ten year time frame, as we stand we are merely in the infancy of the project, yet we have been taken from a club struggling with mid table mediocrity to a team challenging for CL qualification within a couple of seasons. If we continue to improve at the rate we have been who knows where that may take us. One thing I do know for sure is that City are a club on the up. Tick tock

Team? I don't think that what you can call a group of mercenaries thrown onto a pitch together a 'team'. Your snooze-fest football wont get you too far in the CL especially when teams like Inter, Barca and Madrid are capable of splitting even the most disciplined defenses with ease. You wouldn't know that though...

As long as Mancini stays, Balotelli will. But if we sack Mancini, Balotelli will request to leave as he isn't mature enough to deal being alone in a foreign country without having a figure like Mancini. Mancini promoted him to Inter's first team from the youth team and they are close.

By the way, to the rag obsessed with us, Inter played the most defensive, tactical football possible against Barca in last year's CL final and grinded out the win in the most disciplined, unspectacular fashion possible.

Well, well well, once a red always a red eh Famous? P.S. Hope you're going to give the ultimate mercenary a big warm rag welcome when he returns against Wigan.

P.S. Famous - I reckon you've been emboldened by the news that the Glazers are "Paying off" some of that vast mountain of debt and that's the reason you've plucked up the courage to come over here and have a go - well read this, it might take the smug red grin off your face: http://www.unitedrant.co.uk/pik-debt-10-unanswered-questions/

Dont want to get in an argument but FCB havn't you always told me not to believe rubbish press comments, articles etc? So the utd fan shouldnt be taken much interest in that article.

If that's the case Famous then why couldn't Utd split our defence with ease? In fact they couldn't even muster up a half decent chance against us in 90 mins. Funny how a group of mercenaries could show that discipline and team spirit over 90 mins.

That article I posted isn't from the press Pavfc, it's from a rag blog, written by a rag fan and voicing the things the papers don't tell people.

I haven't P.AVFC, I hardly count it as a liable source, so it calls for desperate times when you have to go back on your own beliefs. Bluedub i don't consider our squad in the same bracket as that of Madrids, Barca and Inters. As for the CL comment, to even compare your football to Inter Milans is laughable, the fact that they won the CL with it and you didn't even qualify says it all really.

What's laughable Famous is your initial comment on here. What did the tabloids tell you today? Anything new to add to the crisis?

Famous in all fairness utd are not the same team they use to be and looking into the future i would put city as a bigger force due to them having some good young players where as utd need strengthening everywhere considering villa outplayed you for 90minutes, and when i say outplayed i mean totally destroyed.

P.Avfc you've completely disregarded the ability of our youngsters and based our teams ability (which i've already admitted isn't at its greatest) on one match with you in which we were lacking Rooney, Valencia, Hargreaves and Giggs, how about you leave the top of the league talk to those who are competing for it. Bluedub did I say it was a crisis? I was getting at it being an interesting time for City, as many players I imagine are going to get cut. Do you honestly believe you can hold onto the squad of super-ego's you've currently got? Do you think Given and Adebayor are going to be happy sat on the bench? Do you think Richards has got the right attitude and work ethic for a title challenging team? Finally, do you believe a player of Bellamy' s quality will be happy with being shipped out on loan or sat on the bench? Say its newpaper talk if it pleases you but there's legs on all these rumours (par the Mancini will get fired one).

You're changing tack all of a sudden Famous, in your initial post you were doubting Balotelli and Tevez continuing with City. As for the players you listed, Given I expect to go out on loan in January, he has said he wants first team football and Mancini has said he won't stand in his way. Adebayor I reckon will be gone next summer, if not January, and replaced by someone with a better attitude. Richards, I don't believe there's any question of his attitude, I just think he lacks the football brain to compete at the highest level and Bellamy is fine where he is, playing with his hometown club, close to his family.

That mainly because I can't Balotelli staying at City for long 2-3 seasons at the most, I base that theory on his previous antics at Inter, where he repeatedly said he wanted to join AC Milan and was caught wearing an AC Milan shirt. Then he joined City and stated he would've preferred to stay in Italy. I believe your just a stepping stone to AC Milan because Inter were never going to sell to AC. As with Tevez, he stated whilst at Man U and City that he will definately be going back to Argentina and is already considering retirement because he is tired so in that case i assume he wont be at City for much longer either and his children might catalyse it.

Well, if Tevez ever does decide to go at least it will be for understandable reasons, ie he misses his family. One thing is for certain though is he won't try to weasel his way out of City by slating the club's lack of ambition. Remind you of anyone?

Don't get me started with Rooney fcb because if I had it my way he wouldn't have the honour of being a United player. His talent isn't an excuse for being so ignorant and the worst thing we could've done is payed him more, far too big of an ego for my liking.
