Win Next Five Premier League Fixtures & Who Knows

Manchester City began December in terrific form with a 1-0 win over Bolton and with West Ham, Everton, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Blackpool games all on the horizon now has never been a better time to take the bull by the horns and stake a claim for the Premier League title.

The Premier League table looks like this...

With 15 points up for grabs now is the time to separate the men from the boys and who knows, December may be the seasons defining moment.

Fixtures

Saturday 11 Dec: West Ham (a)
Monday 20 Dec: Everton (h)
Sunday 26 (Boxing Day): Newcastle (a)
Tuesday 28 Dec: Aston Villa (h)
Friday 1 Jan 2011: Blackpool (h)

It's certainly within our capability to win all 5 of these games and come away with maximum points - the way we are playing at the moment we can beat anyone. On the other hand, this is City we're talking about, so wouldn't put it past us to drop the odd 2 points here and there in supposedly "easy" games like West Ham.

European qualification guaranteed and only the distraction of eliminated Juventus away to negotiate. So why not? The team is brimming with confidence and one of those sides is going to get caned on yesterday's evidence.

the next 5 fixtures are of the type that could easily go very well or very badly, i'm hopeful it will go well

I am quietly confident we will take at least 12 points from these games ...
