West Ham, West Brom & Newcastle Sniff A Sweep

West Ham, West Brom and Newcastle are all thought to considering taking Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old winger, who's on his second spell at City hardly ever manages to get a position on the bench never mind Mancini's starting 11. In fact 'Sweep' as he's affectionally known by City supporters has only started two Premier League games this season.

The main issue in getting Shaun a loan deal surrounds trying to persuade the aforementioned clubs to cough up the £70,000 a week Wright-Phillips currently earns. However, I'm sure the officials at MCFC, SWP and potential bidders can come to some sort of compromise.
