Four Very Important Games In January

Manchester City collected a maximum nine Premier League points over the Christmas period but what about the forthcoming matches in January.

City started 2011 in style after beating Blackpool 1-0; however, with four very important games coming up this month how do you see January panning out?

Fixtures

Premier League - Arsenal (A) 5th
FA Cup Third Round - Leicester City (A) 9th
Premier League - Wolves (H) 15th
Premier League - Aston Villa (A) 22nd

They're all vitally important from here on in!

Some tough games, well we should beat Wolves but you never know. 1pt from Arsenal would be good, Leicester will play their "cup final" and it'll be a lively match, and Villa away - well, something tells me it won't be as much of a pushover as the home game was.

A win in the cup and 7pts from the three league games will do for me.

They are all going to be tough games but I am as optimistic as always... 4 wins will do .

The phase we are in right now through Christmas up until the European competitions start again is going to be season defining. If we can hang on in there up until mid February, then anything can happen.

i hope a trip too Wembley in the FA Cup, and a top4 finish, and if it's not a tad too trouble, much a trip to Dublin in May too.... or am i being too optimistic?
