'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Video: We Threw Everything At City

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway was delighted in the way his team played against Manchester City on New Years Day. 'We threw everything at them,' he said.

'What I would say though is that City are a quality club and someone is doing things right there. The stadium, the hospitality - where my wife spent the afternoon - even the ugly crash barriers which have covers over them are all top quality.'

'It is all quality there - they are a class act. You know they even had City and Blackpool rock on the tables. Still on the day they (City) we slightly the better team.'

Top man!

Not going to pretend I like Ian Holloway, but I most certainly respect the way he sets his teams up to play football. Perhaps the likes of Stoke, Everton and Blackburn would like to watch Blackpool once in a while - lack of funds and/or top notch players doesn't stop them playing the beautiful game the way it's supposed to be played. Moyes, Pulis et al please take note the next time you send out your prop forwards eh?

Ollie for the England Manager,s Job, not the Spiv at White Hart Lane..... TOP BLOKE says what he thinks and stuff the rest, plays football the way fans want to watch and are entertained, long may he continue...... well done Blackpool..
