Vital Manchester City understands VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko (24) will fly into Manchester tomorrow, Tuesday 4 January 2011 whereby he will undertake a medical.

It appears the transfer will cost Manchester City in the region of £27million and if reports are correct personal terms between MCFC, Dzeko and his agent have already been ironed out.

Fingers crossed on this one - could be the difference between 3rd and 1st place for us.

Lets hope so. He looks great but, as stated today by Boateng, he lacks pace and I'm a bit concerned about that. Germany is a slower league and I just hope he's of the Sheringham mould rather than a Corradi one.

No-one can be worse than Corradi! Pearcey bought a duck-egg there. In fact a duck-egg has more pace. In the end a goal machine doesn't stop scoring. With the service City can provide from Silva, Yoyo and Johnson, Dzeko should score a bagful.

The Samaras Corradi dream ticket just wasn't to be! lol!

The deal looks done, £27m apparently. Won't be available for Arsenal despite previous reports so should make debut against Wolves.

I wouldnt say Torres is the quickest and he still bangs them in, But i wouldnt expect to much formt he guy this season (if we sign him) he needs 6 months to settle in so it will be next season we see Dzecko in full flow
