Wayne Bridge's West Ham Medical

Tuesday 11 January 2011: Sky Sports is reporting that Manchester City left-back, Wayne Bridge is currently having a medical at West Ham United.

The 30-year-old Southampton born former England international is expected to move to Upton Park on loan until the end of the season after the Hammers agreed to pay his £90,000 a week wage.

West Ham looked good against Birmingham today. Bridge's experience could help lift them out of the relegation dog fight. Zabaleta has proved he can cover left-back adequately enough, and we have Lescott who can play there if we get desperate.

It's official now, hopefully they will buy him if they stay up. Santa Cruz to Blackburn almost done too, a loan and they will buy him if he stays fit (big if) for the rest of the season.
