City Loan Rangers Continue To Head Into The Sunset

Following Wayne Bridge's loan departure for West Ham, Manchester City have confirmed that Roque Santa Cruz and Abdisalam Ibrahim are also fully fledged loan stars...

Santa Cruz, 30 years old next summer, has hobbled up the road to Blackburn whilst the promising 19 year old Ibrahim will join our pals at Scunthorpe. Irony of irony, (sic) both players played against The Iron last season in the domestic cups, Crocky even managing to score a goal.

Santa Cruz and Ibrahim join Bridgey, Gunnar Nielsen, Nedum Onuoha, Vladimir Weiss, Craig Bellamy and Felipe Caicedo on loan elsewhere until the end of the season.

The next temporary deal is imminent for Shaun Wright-Phillips who is considering his options. More on this developing story as we get it...
