Super Mario In Classic Rag Goading Tomfoolery

Super Mario In Classic Rag Goading Tomfoolery

Always good for a quote is City's enigmatic powerhouse striker Mario Balotelli. This week he's going after every rag's favourite scouser in Italian dispatches

The 8 goals from 8 starts City striker has had a chat with Italian media outlet Extra Time and revealed his belief in The Blues strike force:

'Our attack of Balotelli, Tevez and Dzeko is the best in the world. Better even than Barcelona and Real Madrid. We are the strongest and we can win things now. We just lack conviction.'

The unpredictable 20 year old Italy international then turned his attention to the rags and in doing so earned himself a Planet Blue star rating for his dismissal of the swamp's very own mercenary centre forward:

'Rooney is a very good player but not the best in United fans insult me? No, they stop me in the street and say 'Mario, come to us.' ...I dream of beating them because I know how much the City fans care, they are wonderful with me. When they sang my name after the hat-trick, I had chills.'

Oh yea this is the same article in which he went on to say that he will be joining Milan in the next 2 years, but of course you didn't see that did you.

He's got a mouth on him doesn't he? Even telling Morinho to learn some politeness and respect. The irony is not lost me. People said Ronaldo was arrogant but it was never to this level and he was ACTUALLY WORLD CLASS. Not this twunt who isnt even the best footballer in the Balotelli family
18/01/2011 17:25:00
and your point is that you wish he was playing in Red and White along with all the other arrogant players you have.

United is a breeding ground of hateful, arrogant players (ie, Evra, Fletcher, Neville Neville's son, Nani, Shrek, and Rafael), so rags shouldn't comment on Balotelli's attitude. ;)
18/01/2011 17:56:00
Stu none of our players have been as arrogant as to refer to themselves in the 3rd person (par Ronaldo, post Man U though). None of our players have claimed to be the best forward in Manchester after 11 games!! "I dream of beating them" - Yeah the key word being "dream". Enjoy him while he lasts because he wont last long...
18/01/2011 18:33:00
First two comments? rags throwing their toys indignantly out of the pram. LOVE IT!
18/01/2011 18:37:00
Buzz - I wish we had Balotelli? I wouldnt want him playing for our U-12 side! He's a ****, overrated, arrogant git who's career will remain unfulfilled until he learns some respect and decency! He even shows no respect for your club; constantly talking about leaving! Who would want to manage a player or have a player like that in their club!?
18/01/2011 19:02:00
Yep, I'll hold my hands up and say that we really missed a trick when we failed to buy Michael Owen.
18/01/2011 19:07:00
Well, like I say fcb, you missed fourth from his 96th minute effort.
