'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mario Balotelli versus Mark Morrison

Mario Balotelli has, on the odd occasion (rarely captured on film) managed to raise what you and I would call a smile. He's someone described as having attitude but never short of a word or two.

While I was surfing the net I found some rather thought provoking quotes made by the man himself.

The following were taken from the Guardian.

Here we go...

'Mourinho is the best coach in the world, but as a man he still needs to learn manners and respect [Roberto Mancini] is the most important coach I've ever had. He'll soon become the No 1 in the world. But already now, in terms of human qualities, he is two kilometres ahead of Mourinho. Wait, make that ten kilometres.'
Balotelli on Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, his former coach at Inter Milan.

'Who else would have won it other than me? There is only one [of the former winners] who is a bit stronger than me - [Lionel] Messi. All of the others are way behind me.'
After winning the Tuttosport Golden Boy award.

'I don't believe Leo Messi deserved the Ballon d'Or, as it should've gone to Wesley Sneijder.'
Interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

'England is far ahead of the rest in terms of stadia and far behind in terms of its media. The newspapers are just trash.'
Gazzetta dello Sport again.

'What's he called? Wil...? No, I have not heard of him yet, but next time I play against Arsenal I will have to pay attention. Maybe I could show him the Golden Boy and remind him that I won it.'
Balotelli assesses Arsenal's Jack Wilshere. The man who finished runner-up for the coveted Golden Boy prize.

'Our attack of Balotelli-Tevez-Dzeko is the best in the world. We are better even than Barcelona and Real Madrid, and certainly better than the Premier League leaders, Manchester United, whose main striker [ Wayne Rooney] has scored just three times this season. He is a very good player but not the best in Manchester. United fans stop me in the street and say, 'Mario, come to us'.'
In Gazzetta dello Sport.

'Because I am rich.'
After police demanded to know why a 20-year-old, who speaks faltering English, was carrying £5,000 cash in his back pocket aftrer crashing his Audi A8.

Super Mario doing what he does best.

What has Mark Morrison got to do with Mario Balotelli?

Absolutely nothing but the soundtrack on the previous video was enough to drive anyone to drink.

The following artist might make you do something similar but it's the only song I could think of which has attitude but half decent.

Nice to have the brashness, now he has to follow it up with the performances, and I for one fully expect him to do just that. He could still be a big, big player for you this season and that will lighten the load on Tevez' shoulders.
