Meadow Lane Is Going To Quake To The Poznan

Manchester City fans will know all about the 'Poznan Groundhop' however, Notts County supporters won't have a clue what I'm talking about.

An estimated 4,700 Citizens are set to descend on Meadow Lane on Sunday and when they do the home support are going to be taken back by what they are about to witness.

In essence, the 'Poznan Groundhop' first came to the City of Manchester Stadium earlier in the season when the Blues played Polish side Lech Poznan in a Europa League tie. The away supporters began to do their 'groundhop' and now we've taken the mantle and added one or two elements of the dance and adapted it to suit our style.

The Poznan usually begins when we score, hence I expect quite a few Blues to be completely knackered after 90 minutes.

Having done my research on YouTube I've decided not to show a City groundhop as the quality of recordings are poor, therefore it seems fitting to show the original 'Poznan Groundhop'.

Meadow Lane is going to quake to the Poznan.

You're assuming we'll score!

Oh dear, lets not underestimate Notts County, it will be a case of famous last words I fear. They just toppled Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and this will be their cup final vs. our players trying to coast through an "easy cup tie". Makes me uneasy, hopefully we show up more than against Leicester in the original fixture. :x

I went to Poznan way and when they scored it was one of the most amazing sights I've ever seen in football. Three levels bouncing up and down with their backs to play, half the stand in blue half in white and the noise.... makes O.T. sound like a funeral parlour..well it does anyway doesn't it?
