Mancio To Recall Vladimir Weiss?

Mancio To Recall Vladimir Weiss?

Roberto Mancini has bemoaned tonight that The Citizens have nobody on the books like Adam Johnson. Surely the on loan Vladimir Weiss would ensure that the boss maintains crucial options...?

21 year old MCFC Academy graduate Weiss is on loan at Glasgow Rangers and been full value for his 5 goals in 14 league starts.
He is one of an unprecedented 14 City players out on loan. In his case to the end of the season.

The quicksilver Czechoslovakian would certainly be able to fit into the club swiftly as opposed to an emergency signing and offers up that unexpected edge that the likes of the disappointing James Milner and the bridge burning Shaun Wright-Phillips are currently unable to give.

One can't help but get the feeling that the likes of Taggart and Wenger would make a move to recall Weiss as European commitments draw nearer on top of other objectives. Of course, much would depend upon what City agreed to in the loan contract.

Would you move for Weiss? Give us a shout both here and in the VMC Forums.

From day one I have been a fan of Vladimir. The youngster is far too to good for the SPL and we should recall him immediaetly. He is our future - simples!

I don't think there is a recall clause in his loan sadly, as we could use him right now.

Bring him back. We are playing on 3 fronts right now and will get plenty of match time.

I'd forgotten about Vlad. I was thinking along the lines of Donal McDermott getting a sniff

In light of past experience why do we not insist on a call back clause in the majority of loan deals .....

In my opinion Weiss is potentially the best of the lot. Better than Johnson. But we can't bring him back, it wasn't in the deal. I'd love to just to annoy the Rangers fans after the complete mess they made the other year but alas its not to be. Milner has got a club foot and rarely lifts his head. How he thinks he can play in the centre is beyond me.
