Derby Build Up: Roberto Mancini's most experienced squad member has spoken to Sky Sports of his belief that City can beat the rags next weekend...

'...Playing against United is always special. What is important for us is to get focused on the game and try to win and take the three points...We are strong enough...and we need to believe in ourselves. It's not going to be easy but I think we are strong enough to do it.'

Vieira has seen enough throughout his illustrious playing career to know that if City win at the swamp, the most exciting Premier League title finish in many years will be on.

'It is really exciting...anybody can beat anybody...There is still a very long way to go. I think that what we have to do is believe in ourselves, keep working hard and taking one game after another and see what is going to happen in the end.'
