Der Bomber: City Have Nothing To Lose

A never say die strike force of Carlos Tevez and Uwe Rosler would be enough to give any rag defender nightmares. Der Bomber predicts a City win in the derby...

Speaking exclusively to arch rag Alan 'Fatty' Brazil on his talkSport put you off your breakfast show, the legendary City hitman declared his belief that City are title contenders:

'Arsenal and City are Manchester United's main rivals. City have nothing to lose on Saturday as they are on the road to achieving our goals. The minimum target at the start of the year must have been qualifying for the Champions League.'

Certainly many Blues agree that a title fight, should it be made possible by a Blues win at the swamp, would be a terrific bonus based upon the fact that the club have been in a top four position for weeks.

The man who registered 65 goals in 168 league and cup starts with City across 4 battling years also called for the team to go for it tomorrow:

'City need to test their back four and have enough support for Carlos up front...we have enough outstanding talent to cause them some problems on the pitch...it's important that they don't get pushed back too much because when United attack they can press you hard and you can end up very deep. We won't come away with a clean sheet if we let them do this.'
