Please Send Kolo Toure A Message Of Support

Following the amazing news that Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has been suspended from participating in all first team and non-first team matches with immediate effect we at Vital Manchester City would like to take this opportunity to allow Blues to send Kolo their message of support.

Just before 7pm, Thursday 3rd March 2011 the official MCFC website announced the 29-year-old had an 'A-sample' provided by him had tested positive for a specified substance. In other words he had failed a drugs test.

Toure, a practicing Muslim, who lives with his wife Awo, daughter Sania and son Yiassin must be devastated by the news. However, and as the saying goes, one is innocent until proven guilty.

The results of the 'B-sample' may take weeks to materialise or become public knowledge, therefore, in the meantime please leave our former captain your message of support in the comments section directly below this article.

Top fella by all accounts. Haven't heard any Gooner or any Citizen have bad words for him as a man. Innocent until proven guilty imho. I dread to think what bin rifling hacks will do in reaction to this. I truly hope he is cleared.
Johnny Baguette
I doubt Kolo would have done anything sinister and believe he is innocent of any wrong-doing. Have the faith Kolo.
Tudor
As an avid drug user myself - please, also send me your support. I am also a good man.
los_angeles_villan
I'm sure you are los_angeles_villan but this is not about you!
Tudor
SSN are reporting that the situation is said to be related to a diet supplement he has taken.
Johnny Baguette
Who could blame any villan for turning to drugs this season with Inspector Clouseau at the controls?
Johnny Baguette
Hang in there Kolo ..they will realise their mistake once the B sample is returned ....
Doody
Rio Ferdinand probably breathed on him.

Kolo, we are all with you. The sooner we get this tidied up and you playing football again the better. Keep the faith, keep fit.
pedmachine
Vick's cough syrup, or something similar. No steadier nicer lad than Kolo, a great advert for the game and the club, This will prove a storm in a teacup and he will be exonerated.
clevblue
Don't believe for a minute that he intentionally took a banned substance - not that that will stop the FA from giving him a lengthy ban if the B sample is positive too though! Hand in there Kolo, we're all behind you!
fifthcolumnblue
'specified substance' sounds worse than it actually is. As JB states, it seems to have been a dietary suppliment, nothing like the media storm would have you believe.
eighthsin
Flash in the pan stuff. Keep yer pecker up Kolo.
RobsonGreensleeves
Having discussed this issue with work mates I have come to the conclusion Kolo is stuffed. He has a defence but it won't wash with the FA and PL. I hate to sayt his but he's looking at a six month ban.
