'From the first minute to his last David Silva ran the game, inventive, committed, silky skills and his ability to find acres of space and make use of it, he has to be my MOTM and unless someone does something extraordinary between now and the end of May he will be my MOTS (man of the season).

'I will never tire of watching him when he is on this form. Villa must have felt like City had 12 men on the pitch at times trying to keep track of him. If he can keep this up until the end of May I truly believe 35 years are about to end!'
