VMC Man of The Match No 45 versus Wigan

Failed summer signing David Silva (copyright ALL Street of Shame football hacks August 2010)'s inability to cope with the Premier League realises his 10th VMC MoTM poll win...

Yet again the buzzing Spaniard made things happen for City. Never afraid to get stuck in and win the ball back, let alone bamboozle opponents, his goal could prove to be one of the most important in The Citizens most ambitious season for decades.

The VMC Forum posse gave the nod to Silva ahead of the steady eddie performance of wily old Patrick Vieira.

Ahead of City's potentially treacherous Ukrainian mission this week, it's comforting to know for an excited City faithful that Joleon Lescott appears to finally be finding his feet alongside the classy Vincent Kompany.

David Silva 35.29%
Patrick Vieira 29.41%
Vincent Kompany 17.65%
Joleon Lescott 11.76%

Gareth Barry 0%

I remember all the hideous pundits like Thompson and Merson on SSN saying how they'd never heard of him and that he was too lightweight for the Premier League. Reminds me of the guy on Talk****e saying he'd never heard of Yaya Toure (Champions League winner) so he couldn't possibly be good.

He has had a blinding season and more is to come. Viera has had a couple of good games as well. He could help keep you on track in the run in as he has been there seen it and done it.
