Hamann to Sign This Week?

Hamann to Sign This Week?

City are reported to be on the verge of signing German midfielder, Dietmar Hamann, from Liverpool.

As the squad returned to training today, Stuart Pearce confirmed that a transfer should be completed this week. With Bolton boss, Sam Allardyce, having already confirmed that Hamann has snubbed Bolton to move to City it is likely that the Hamann deal is the one Pearce was talking abou today.

Pearce also confirmed that City were in talks with a number of other players in the hope of more signings being made before the new season starts.
