Four Blues Named In England Squad

England boss and dead man walking, Fabio Capello has named his 26-man squad to face Wales and Ghana next week.

To be honest I for one have lost all interest in the international set-up especially after the embarrassing fiasco in South Africa last summer and doubt I'll even look for the results; well not until Capello disappears into the sunset. And by the looks of it that isn't going to happen until after the 2012 European Championship, should we qualify.

Squad in full

Ben Foster, Robert Green, Joe Hart

Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Phil Jagielka, Glen Johnson, Joleon Lescott, John Terry, Kyle Walker

Gareth Barry, Stewart Downing, Matthew Jarvis, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Scott Parker, Jack Wilshere, Ashley Young

Darren Bent, Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney

Joleon Lescott has really improved since he got an extended run in the side - at last he's starting to look a bit like the player Hughes paid too much money for!

Micah is apparently still only good enough for the U-21 side, haha. Awful manager, between he and the wally with the brolly before him, I've become less interested in my national team than ever before.
StuMCFC
I should check my pulse I actually completely agree with Stu, Capello is an absolute joke.
TheFamousNo7
Agree with Stu, Micah is the best English right-back on current form by far. Some of Capello's recent decisions have been pathetic, labelling Beckham as 'too old' before calling up 33 year old Kevin Davies for his debut. And John Terry? Wow.

The international team is a joke right now

Lescott has been outstanding of late.
