City Sign Hamann

City Sign Hamann

As predicted on this site, City today completed the signing of Liverpool's German midfielder, Dietmar Hamann.

What wasn't predicted was that the blues would sign him from Bolton rather than Liverpool.

As it transpires, Hamann had agreed to join Bolton in an impetuous moment some three weeks ago. However, once the player heard of City's interest he is alleged to have told whinging Sam that he would rather not be a Bolton player.

City swooped, and credit to Bolton they accepted the player's reluctance to join their club, and now Hamann is a blue.

In my opinion Hamann is City's best summer signing to date. If they can prise Sidwell from Reading then the midfield will be complete with or without Barton.

Well done Stu ..... no negativity with this signing.
