The news is good from Buenos Aires. Zaba's father has been moved out of intensive care following the car crash that led to City's most consistent player flying home to remain by his side.
With Kolo Toure, Micah Richards, Greg Cunningham and Jerome Boateng all unavailable, news of the return of the City stalwart to the frontline will be well received across Planet Blue.
