'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I Simply Don't Know My Future Says Roberto Mancini

Roberto Mancini has admitted he does not know if he has a long-term future at Manchester City.

Rumours suggest the Italian has to ensure Champions League qualification next season or face the chop.

'I don't know my future,' said Mancini. 'You can't know your future, because anything can happen in life.'

'I don't know my future at the moment, just as I don't know the future of players like Craig Bellamy and Emmanuel Adebayor, who are out on loan.'

'I have a three-year contract. But I don't know if my position depends on finishing in the top four - I don't think so.'

'At this moment though, the focus should be on our last eight games in the Premier League and the FA Cup semi-final.'

Tottenham may pip City to the post again and claim fourth position…

'We don't want to finish fourth, said the City boss. 'We want to finish third if possible.'
