'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Paul Scholes The Latest Rag To Write Off The Blues

Carrick, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra and even knackers yard resident Neville have been talking City this week. Now their 50 year old midfielder Scholes delivers a put down...

'With them getting the money, it has probably helped us...It spurred us on a bit more when we played them. They have definitely gone up a level from where they had been before and it probably made us concentrate a little bit more than we normally would...

'When they are fourth or fifth in the league, I don't think they can be classed as a main rival. Our main rivals are obviously Arsenal and Chelsea. I think City are just a rival because of where they are geographically, like Liverpool.'

Following the party line of an unprecdented set of red quotes this week, Scholes went on to have a dig at City's mentality:

'We have a belief that we can beat anybody, but if City have that, I'm not too sure.'

Keep it coming rags.

Keep it coming you little ginger ballbag. Mancini won't need to give a teamtalk at this rate, there's so many Rags speaking to the media about City they're doing Mancini's teamtalk for him.

My sincerest wish is that Scholes goes into one of his famous attempts at murdering one of our players and either injures himself or gets sent off - he's long overdue his just deserts. And for the record, he knows EXACTLY what he's doing with each and every scything challenge, he just knows he'll get away with it 99% of the time.
