'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I Won't Play For Anyone Else Admits Bellamy

'My stance is clear on this. If I can't play for Manchester City in the Premier League, I won't play for anyone else in the Premier league. I'm adamant on that,' said Craig Bellamy.

The 31-year-old's loan deal with his hometown club Cardiff City expires at the end of the season, however, if he got his wish the Welshman would remain with the Bluebirds until the Championship club were promoted.

Talking to WalesOnline earlier in the week Bellamy said...

They own me (City), they're my club. If I can't play for them, I won't play for anyone else apart from Cardiff City.'

'I'm here for the year and Manchester City have been great, they know my situation and they know I only want to play for Manchester City in the Premier League, I don't want to play for anyone else.'

His comments come on the back of rumours suggesting other top flight clubs were after his services.

If only Bellamy didn't have knees of glass and a slightly "prickly" personality...

I loved watching him play in a City shirt. He had fire in his belly (bit too much at times) and boy did he get stuck him. Have to agree with you fifthcolumnblue, his was certainly injury prone.

he's just announced on Sky sports that he will be 'here at CARDIFF'next season, DEFINATELY..... so what is going on in his mind if he has said it's City or Cardiff? so is he going to buy himself out of his contract at City to stay at Cardiff? cos it's sure as hell they are'nt going to do it....

One thing for sure ...you could never fault his commitment when he was on the field.

I know one thing. Post Everton result I would be a lot happier facing Stoke with Bellers on board.
