VMC Man of The Match No.56 versus Tottenham

VMC Man of The Match No.56 versus Tottenham

The resurgent powerhouse that is Micah Richards stormed back into action for City last night and will relish the battle against Stoke's 'dambusters' on Saturday...

One of the most pleasing aspects of the Mancini era at Manchester City has been the City manager's willingness to nurture young talent in the way that the likes of a Mourinho never have done. Mancio has shown faith in Richards and has instilled a previously lacking confidence and awareness in the laugh a minute Academy graduate.

Amongst a full on team effort against Spurs that secured Champions League football for City, Richards excelled. City and England will benefit greatly from Richards' career renaissance if he can maintain this level of performance.

Micah is the VMC Forum's Man of The Match. Joe Hart's brilliance and Joleon Lescott's increasing authority also came in for praise. Fabio Crapello will be delighted.

Man of the Match last night was Sandro. Richards was impressive though.

he was immense last night, congrats on your CL qualifications, best teams over the whole season are in there correct positions now i feel. sad as a spurs supporter but we have not been able to turn posession into goals all season.

Well done Micah - great performance.

1 win in 13 games is pretty pathetic considering our squad. Big changes ned to occur and if Levy thinks that means cahnging manger or coaching team then do it now. Well done City but hey it aint suprising given your spending power. Saying that I am not convinced you are that good, maybe you will be who knows.

Sandro? Nah mate... He's been good for you lately but no way was he better than Micah. Richards offered something going forward as well as being a brick wall in defence.
11/05/2011 14:36:00
Crouch was my MOTM.

Good one bluedub, dya fancy City signing the great pile of *****e! lol up the blues

MR was superb and fully deserved the man of the match reward. He has proven a point and the defence looked a lot better with him there.
