Nine Or Ten Man City Players Expecting The Chop

Blues fans are expecting Manchester City to chop nine, possibly ten players from their current playing staff.

The list will not surprise anyone...

Emmanuel Adebayor, Craig Bellamy, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Patrick Vieira, Jo, Wayne Bridge, Felipe Caicedo, Nedum Onuoha and Roque Santa Cruz. However, many of us will be hoping Carlos Tevez doesn't go onto the list.

Now I am not saying Carlito will be given the chop, far from it but if you believe the rumours about Roberto Mancini's relationship with the Argentinean as far from being perfect then it is conceivable Tevez may well be on his way out of Eastlands come the summer transfer window.

Talking about bringing in replacements the City boss said...

'I don't know how many players I will need at this moment. We need time to think and talk about new players once the season has finished.'

City is going to need a strong squad next season, especially if the club are going to be in the race for the Premier League title.

God, if only City's damned management didn't see us as threats...come on lads, we're cuddly and inoffensive, we mean no harm, sell us Adebayor, honest ;) And Bellamy...and Cruz...

You can have them DubaiSpur. Ade and Bellamy are nothing but trouble and a pain in the arse.
Tudor
Do you really think Ade would go to Spurs now Dubai after his whinging about the racist Spurs fans after Real game? Bellers would be lucky to play half a season in PL at this rate. Cruz? Obviously you're taking the pish, your medical staff have enough problems without having to dedicate a stretcher to Crocky.

I'd like to see Caicedo stay, I genuinely think he is good enough after seeing him in Spain. Onuoha I'd also like to stay but more for sentimental reasons, he wants first team football and would only get it in FA/Carling Cup games and occasional league games for us.

Off load Adebayor, RSC, Bellamy, Bridge, SWP, Given, Onuoha, Logan, Taylor, Jo, by all means, but see no need to let Caicedo go. Better to keep him.
