TÚvez On Mancio: We Are Both Winners

More bad news for the anti-City brigade legion. Carlos TÚvez and Roberto Mancini have spoken out in praise of each other in the aftermath of City's FA Cup triumph...

TÚvez, who has the dreary rag Dimitar Berbatov's 21 Premier League goals in his Golden boot sights has made his admiration for Mancio very clear:

'In the summer I will sit down with my family and discuss my future. It has nothing to do with Roberto Mancini, who is a great manager. We have a great relationship.

'We are both winners and what to achieve more things for the club. We have a good relationship off the pitch and in the professional sense. Sometimes there were some problems between us but I think that happens everywhere and we want to be successful.'

For his part, Mancio maintains his belief that El Apache remains a key player at SportCity:

'He's our captain and is an important player for us. For me, he stays here. He wants to stay.'

It would be nice to see Carlos stay even if it is just to save having to burn in a new player ....I am a great fan of his work rate and would love to see others put in the shifts he does....on the other hand I would love to see him not hog the ball so much.
