Manchester United Fans Turn Out For Victory Parade

Vital Manchester City would like to congratulate Manchester United on winning the Premier League. We would also like to show our readers the very latest pictures from the clubs Stretford victory parade.

Where is everyone I hear you ask?

Here's a clue.

As there is only an estimated 1% of United fans living within a 100 mile radius of Old Trafford I'll let you guess where everyone was. Another clue is the world map embedded at the top of this article. I bet, given 24 hours after publishing this article there are more visitors from London and the Far East than Manchester.

Oh and before United fans complain please get a sense of humour.

Oh come on - there must have been AT LEAST 3 million people on the streets of Stretford today...
fifthcolumnblue
Didn't Sky Sports say there was around 1 million??

Heard a rumour that GMP had reported between 50-75K. Just been up to the local shops (Trafford Bar) and not much sign of them.

What a shame.

On the bright side, it's stopped raining now! ;)

Stu published a cracking picture via this thread - http://www.manchestercity.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=16887&posts=3 fecking brilliant.

HaHa! The Guardian asked ONE fan ONE question this morning. He gave a 3 line response, managing to fit in the words 'City' and 'Liverpool'. Top notch paranoia!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-13590280 "Tens of thousands of Manchester United fans gathered to cheer their team on an open-top bus tour to parade the Premier League trophy." "On Monday, up to 100,000 Manchester City fans celebrated their team's first trophy in 35 years with an FA Cup victory parade from Albert Square to the City of Manchester stadium." Says it all. The city is ours.

Anyone remember this article from the MuEN a couple of weeks ago? Egg on face time! http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/news/s/1420517_police-say-united-victory-parade-will-attract-twice-as-many-fans-as-city-celebrations
fifthcolumnblue
LMAO! Is this the finest ever article on VMC I ask myself. Absolutely pathetic turnout from the Home Counties massive!
Johnny Baguette
I'll take your comment JB as a compliment (lol).

Guys..the route wasn't pasing through Stretford, it was only from the City Centre to the Swamp. But it only reflects what I said over the weekend..if the success ain't there neither are the so -called fans. Even when Sky Sports found one allegedly from Manchester he has an antipodean accent. Nuff said
pedmachine
Sorry Ped, but the route did take them through Stretford and the parade finished at Stretford Arndale!
