Corinthians Has Until 20 July To Buy Carlos Tevez

Video: Andres Sanchez, president of Brazilian club Corinthians, made a £35m offer on Tuesday for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez but with MCFC refusing to accept the bid and with the Brazilian league's transfer window closing on 20 July 2011 it appears time is running out for the deal to go through.

The 27-year-old Argentina striker has made no secret of his desire to leave Manchester and move closer to his family in South America and with no further bids on the table it appears Mr Tevez will be playing for City until at least the next transfer window opens in January.

Too many unresolved issues with this deal - the most notable being that they don't actually have the cash! - for it to happen. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tevvez leave us at 3 minutes to midnight on August 31st, and he won't be going to Brazil.

too true, Tevez will be staying at City, the Corinthians deal is to complex, and i cant see Corinthians nearly bankrupting them selves for it to go through, Joorabchian must be taking a stake in Tevez again, 3rd party owner ship all over again....

If Tevez so badly wants to go there and it is in fact his dream and Kia's like Kia told Talksport the other day then why doesn't Kia give City the £50 million to buy Tevez back and then loan Tevez to Corinthians? Everyone wins, City get the money they're looking for and Tevez and Kia's dream becomes a reality.
