Mancio Unveils Squad Sheet For Dublin Tournament

Manchester City have released the squad list for this weekend's Dublin Super Cup. And there's a place reserved on the Etihad Mini Bus fleet for a new striker...

At the time of going to press, Atletico Madrid's Serge Aguero is enjoying a pie and a pint on Ashton New Road in advance of his City debut in the emerald isle this weekend.

City have advised that the squad list drawn up by Roberto Mancini for the mini league involving Celtic, Inter Milan and the Airtricity Irish XI will be 'subject to transfers' yet Planet Blue can already see who the shrewd City boss has in mind ahead of the Wembley showdown with the rags next week.

Th'Official Site confirms:

'Joe Hart, Stuart Taylor, Eirik Johansen,

Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott, Gael Clichy, Dedryck Boyata, Aleksander Kolarov, Stefan Savic, Frederic Veseli, Ryan McGivern

Adam Johnson, Nigel De Jong, Yaya Toure, David Silva, James Milner, Gareth Barry, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Vladimir Weiss, Denis Suarez, Joan Roman, Abdul Razak

Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko, John Guidetti, Andrea Mancini, plus one other.'

What do you think of the Dublin Squad? Are the likes of Weiss, SWP and Guidetti set to stick around and fight for the cause?

UPCOMING FIXTURES:

30 July 14:00 (GMT+1): Irish XI, Dublin, F
31 July 16:15: Inter Milan, Dublin, F
07 August 14:30: The rags, Wembley, CS

I can see Weiss making the squad and SWP too, new deal into the bargain. They've been two of the best players pre-season and both shone in the behind closed doors game too apparently.

Weiss certainly looks like he benefitted from his loan with Rangers - not convinced he's the finished article by a long way yet, but hope he makes the squad and pushes for the first team.
