@pedmachine...If you are referring to Bryan Robson, i believe it's spelled "TestICLE"...

Spoken to several rags in the past few days, and a couple of them have come up to me and said something along the lines of "don't tell anyone, but I've stuck a bet on City to win the league this season". Seems a lot of people are taking a punt on us winning it before the odds get to low.

It is more than noisy neighbours stuff this season. The more I've seen of us in the pre-season the more I like the look of it

I nearly put £20 on city to win the league but i hesitated and thought maybe not...I really want someone to get sneijder into the premier league, if man utd sign him then i'll back them, if you lot sign him i think your squad would be just about perfect and i think you will go all the way.

Lets face it this is our best shot at it for years, its now up to us to grab it, we have the squad, we have the manager, and for the first time in ages we have the right frame of mind .....oh and I nearly forgot we have the best supporters...
Doody
*best supporters money can buy :P sorry had to slip that in
Astriel
35 years and we're still here Astriel.

Why not?

Have been following City since long before they had money Astriel (1949 first game)

i think we have to inprove on last years performance, Joint 2nd on points,so runners up is Just a very slight inprovement, something tells me Mancini is after a bigger improvement than that... so YES we can do it.....

The sad thing for us is you do.Too much talent it will be harder fail. You guys have a better squad than us now.

City certainly have a bigger squad than us @Chelsea24/7 but I wouldnt say they have a better squad. I'm still not sure about City yet. I mean unless you sign a couple other players like Mancini says he will, I look at your team and see the same team that was there last year. Clichy and Kolarov are arguably no better than each other and with Tevez on his way out (it seems) doesnt Aguero seem like a straight swap for carlos? (even though Tevez gets in the Argentina team ahead of Aguero). And I want to say this as respectively as possible. Don't flatter yourselves because you finished level on points with us. Don't take that as a sign that "that's Chelsea down, now onto Utd". We had our lowest points total since becoming a championship contending side, we had our worst run of form in 9 seasons between November and January. and if it weren't for the last 2 games (where we were on an all time low, out of every competition, after getting beaten by Utd, and subsequently drew and lost, whereas u lot, off the back of CL qualification and an Fa cup win must've been on an all time high and won your last 2 games.) we wouldve finished 4 points clear. So please don't consider us as your equal just yet. To me u look like the same old team, whereas as we look transformed under AVB, add a few signings to our team and people will be kicking themselves for writing us off as easy as most mancunians are. However, u lot could end right up there if you turn your silly draws into wins like most title contending teams do eventually. It looks like you are now the 3rd team in what I would like to call 'the big 3 three' but still Chelsea and Utd are still the two front runners in my opinion. We are certainly not your equals!

"We are certainly not your equals!" !!!! ..got that one right.
Doody
once again dont flatter yourself. I'm not going to drawn into an argument over who is better Chelsea or Sh!ty, but i'll just say that It took Roman 2 seasons to land the Premier League, how long has it taken Mansour? oh, we're still counting are we?
