'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Shop A Manchester Looter e-Petition

I have fallen foul of writing political articles on a dedicated Manchester City FC unofficial website before, with the last one being the rise in VAT to 20%, but on this occasion I truly believe in the cause.

All of you reading this article have seen the displaceable scenes of criminals creating havoc in our city centres, hence the following e-petition.

If the number of e- petition signatures reaches 100,000 or more the coalition government are duty bound to discuss the petition in the Houses of Parliament.

The e-Petition says...

Convicted Manchester Rioters Should Loose All Benefits

Any persons convicted of criminal acts during the current Manchester riots should have all financial benefits removed. No tax payer should have to contribute to those who have destroyed property, stolen from their community and shown a disregard for the country that provides for them. Bring justice back to our country.

These low life 'Chavs' must learn by having no monetary support from the government and their country and by a harsh imprisonment sentence. Let them rot in jail; there is no place for them in the world!

Make your feelings known here.

Cameron is right - parts of our country are sick, but don't believe he gives a toss cos he doesn't! He's just miffed he had to cut short his third holiday in three months!

I don't know why everyone is so baffled. The English have been taking things as they please since the beginning of time :)

I'm willing to bet it's illegal to remove benefits thus leaving people peniless. Not excusing the violence but where will someone go if you kick them out of their homes? The punishments need more thinking about.

I'm all for shopping a looter, and know several people who live in the city centre who've handed over pics and video of some of the scroats to the police. But I have to say that the idea of cancelling their benefits and kicking them out of their council houses is a recipe for disaster - so we make these people even more skint and homeless - how is that going to stop them committing yet more crime to try and support themselves? What they need is some sort of mandatory training or work experience in the same way that young offenders are sent out into the community to do work. At least it will give most of them their first genuine experience of working for a living!

its time for the parents of the kids who was involved in the riots to step up to the plate and if they have an ounce of decency take them to the police and let the law decide what to do with them cos there was no reason for the riots in the week, it was not like the riots of Moss side in 1981, what happened on tuesday in Town was wanton vandalism and cowards at large.... rant over... now shop a scroat...
