Etihad Stadium Opener Sold Out

Manchester City have announced that the Sold Out signs have gone up at the Etihad for tonight's league campaign curtain raiser with newly promoted Swansea City...

Crowds are already building in and around town and SportCity as the FA Cup holders prepare to welcome The Swans in a mouthwatering clash summed up by City and England's Micah Richards:

'We'll look to improve in the first game against Swansea. It's not going to be easy. They are going to be up for it so it's going to be a good game...We know of their threat but we don't want to focus on them, we want to focus on us.

'We'll go into it all guns blazing.'

Looking forward to it, really hope we can get off to a good start as we often draw too much on opening days! I'm setting off in about two hours, come on City!
