Spurs Move In For Arsenal And City Legend

Spurs gaffer Harry Redknapp has confirmed today that talks are ongoing between Tottenham and Manchester City for the signature of the unpredictable Emmanuel Adebayor...

After seemingly weeks of rumour and counter rumour over Adebayor's future, Redkapp said:

'The chairman is talking to Man City about the player...where they are at, I genuinely don't know.'

Adebayor is no stranger to controversy and now stands on the brink of crossing the North London divide and subsequently confusing a lot of abusive chanters.

More on this transfer, which is likely to be in the form of a season long loan as soon as we get it...

Haha, you won't be laughing when he knocks in the goals against you in a couple of weeks....oh wait...pffft, at least we've still got Crouch for that game while you're still faffing around with Aguero...damn it, "banter" is becoming increasingly difficult as a Spurs fan.

Not a fan of his temperament when he played for us but Adebayor seems to have improved his work rate and commitment to the cause at RM. A very good signing for Spurs if they pull it off. The heading of this article really takes the mickey.

Quite Bernio, quite. We'll just have to hope he bangs a few in against the rags, that'll make both sets of fans extremely happy eh? @ Delta - he did look to have got his act together at Madrid, but my suspicion is that he was only on his best behaviour in order to earn himself a permanent deal. And I'm not too certain he will be that great a signing for the Spurs, seeing as he pulled much the same stunts at City as he did at Arsenal, but hey, they're welcome to him. You are correct though, the headline is taking the mickey, it's called banter - don't hear too many Spurs fans complaining about it!

The best part is, he could make his debut against our out of City rivals. If he bangs 3 past the rags en route to a Spurs win, we should give them a bonus sum compliments of the Cook, LOL!

Everybody knows he'll try his knackers off for the first 5 games and proclaim love is in the air. Spurs will beat the rags if he is on board.
