VMC's Some Might Sell: Seven Days Too Long

Here comes a hectic week of wheeler dealing as summer long pre financial regulations caution and brinkmanship begin to unravel into a frenzy of transfer activity...

The shortly to be concluded Nasrigate has more than gone the tedious distance as sodding Twitter based hack ITK's and dreadful football agent demands saw everyone connected with The Arsenal and City collectively tear their hair out in frustration over the apparant lack of a resolution.

Tonight many Arsenal and City fans have been treated to the toe curling spectacle of CNN's self styled Arsenal diehard Piers 'Moron' Morgan twitter-goading 19 year old suspended Arsenal players into using the same medium to slate Nasri over money being 'The Roots (sic) of all evil.' Twitter is rapidly becoming a cowardly medium for the peddling of vapid statements.

Meanwhile, at The Etihad Stadium, Vladimir Weiss' £4 million departure for Dynamo Kyiv this week following numerous exits already secured including Shay Given's £3,500,000 to Aston Villa and Jerome Boateng's £12,360,000 transfer to Bayern Munich is likely to be the catalyst for a run on City departures over the next 7 days:

For starters, Craig Bellamy is widely tipped for a Liverpool side which is not getting the expected service from Andy Carroll. Rayo Vallecano de Madrid are pursuing Roque Santa Cruz on a season long loan deal. Shaun Wright-Phillips is on numerous radars. Emmanuel Adebayor remains high in Tottenham Hotspur's priorities and Nedum Onuoha is hotly tipped for Everton.

In other news, Wayne Bridge who appears to spend more time on the celebrity circuit than on a training ground has turned down a move to Celtic in amongst being pursued by craparazzi.

Roberto Mancini and the City hierarchy will be all the more delighted if any of the aforementioned transfers realise permanent deals ahead of next week's Premier League squad announcement.

The jury is out as to whether or not Mancio will make anymore signings this week. It's highly likely that efforts to offload unwanted players will be prioritised and intensified.

Why not loan or sell adam johnson to us? You barely use him anyways. We could really use him to alternate on our right wing with daniel sturridge whom you generously gave us on the cheap. Thank you kind sirs!

Bluedub, i know we initially got him on a free as his contract had expired but were later forced to pay about £4mil as compensation for the cost of his training. Nice piece of business in all. You had better let us have johnson on your terms or else we get him the sturridge way & leave y'all heartbroken & downcasted *wink wink

Pensioner style.....
