Samir Nasri Is A Blue

Samir Nasri has been confirmed as Manchester City's fourth major signing of the summer...

As The Citizens reinforce their power in the transfer market, our new Number 19 who will meet his new team mates tomorrow has come in for great praise from his new gaffer, the cool for cats Roberto Mancini on citytv:

'I think he is a fantastic player. I followed him at Marseille when I was at Inter and we wanted to take him five years ago.

'He has improved a lot in the Premier League.

"He is now a top player. I think he is a player maybe like David Silva. The difference from David is that Samir can play in the middle. They can play together.

'Nasri is only 24 years old. It's a good signing for the club.'

'Le Petit Prince de Marseille' has signed for a fee of around £24 million and is engaged on a four year deal at The Etihad Stadium.

Bienvenue à Manchester, Samir!

He looks delighted in the interview on the OS, almost in awe when the interviewer mentioned him playing with Kun and Silva. Welcome to Manchester, Samir!

lol just like you guys coming on our forum to give opinions, so we will here - he has just joined for the money, and as a Utd fan I would HAVE liked him to come to us instead - one question though, how is Mancini going to keep all these players happy? He cant play all of them at the same time, and a fair few will go out to pasture and rot in your reserves...... C'mon surely you guys can see that its bad for your club when you buy whoever you want and have a squad the size of a small African conutry who are all being paid stupid amounts of money for bringing nothing to the EPL

Do you ever apply the same "how will they keep them all happy" question to Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid etc etc? - Go on then. What has been the rags squad rotation secret after decades of breaking transfer records until the financial wheels came off?

Just joined for the money, here we go again ( sigh ), it has nothing to do with us offering a realistic chance of winning trophies then? U*d squad is just as big as City's. What happened you Niteworlok? I used to think you had some sense, obviously I was mistaken.

United have 24 senior players to call on compared to Chelsea's 27... and City's 22 (excluding the bunch the club are trying to sell). Another well spun myth that will persist for another 5 years. People really have no original thoughts nowadays, they repeat the rent-a-quote media criticisms of City like a mantra, clutching their pillow and rocking back and forth.

Im the first to jump on city for stupid wages nordkap but i don't think they have tripled nasri's wages and to be honest i don't think nasri has joined for the money because lets be honest who will win the league and champions league first arsenal or man city? With the money and team city are gathering it's not an easy answer.
