'If It's Football, It's Vital'

MCFC's Holy Grail Destiny Awaits

The Champions League group stage draw takes place in Monaco, tomorrow, 25 August 2011 at 4:45pm BST, live on Sky Sports News and British Eurosport...

With the final places due to be taken tonight, City's long craved pursuit of playing football at the highest level is about to be realised. It's almost unthinkable that The Blues were heading for oblivion in the third tier of English football just over a decade ago.

We're Not Really Here. Planet Blue doesn't care who we will face, this juggernaut is ready for anything.

The Citizens will be one of the 32 elite European clubs who will be split into four seeding pots of eight, with one from each pot being drawn into eight groups.

The format is a tad complicated, therefore if you click here the official Champions League website will explain better than we ever could!

The first of the group games takes place on 13 and 14 September. Come On You Blues!

Carling Cup tomorrow too, which will be Mario's opportunity to show what he can do. Back with the CL, really looking forward to see who we get. Just got that feeling it could be Barcelona and some tough Portugese team. I assume the complications mean we can not play Fergie's fledgings or any English club?

Thus speaks the font of all footballing knowledge, niteworlok. For what it's worth, neither was your team last season, yet you still managed to do it, so I won't slit my wrists just yet.
