Revolving Door Latest: Hargreaves Checks In

The most unlikely transfer story of the summer has been realised as Owen Hargreaves signs a one year contract at The Etihad Stadium...

The highly decorated 30 year old breaks the mould in the modern era by being his own agent which has of course helped the deal move ahead swiftly.

Hargreaves has had a brutal, brutal last few years after standing on the brink of world fame. Here's to him enjoying the craic amongst a buzzing City squad who sit top of the league tonight.

In other news, we understand that a Shaun Wright-Phillips medical is imminent in London with Queens Park Rangers, Craig Bellamy is in Liverpool close to a free transfer and that Ahmed Benali, in a routine MCFC Academy plan has gone to Rochdale on an experience building season long loan.

Stoke are meanwhile making a late bid for Adam Johnson.

Like to wish our new recruit the very best of luck, and hope he gets the chance to prove himself. Funnily enough, I can't bring myself to dislike him as i would do with most ex-rags, seeing as he really didn't have much impact for them after his first season.

Cannot understand the negativity of some City fans.Absolute no brainer if he can get anywhere near where he was when the dark side signed him, he will be a great signing.
