City Must Name 25-Man Squad By Midnight

Manchester City must name both 25-man squads for the Premier League and Champions League tournaments, which have to be handed in to the respective authorities by midnight tonight (Thursday 1 September 2011).

Roberto Mancini has managed to trim the number of players at the club with either sales or loans, nevertheless there are inevitably going to be one or two high profile players who will miss the cut.

Which players will Mancini leave out? If you have an opinion you can leave your idea's in the comments section directly below this article.

We only have 25 senior players left at the club now after sales and loans, that includes Bridge and Onouha who I suspect will be farmed out to the Championship on loan, so there's no need for anyone to miss out.

In fact Mario and Savic are under 21 so we could see a squad list of just 21 players submitted for PL. They both have to be named in the CL squad though.

Sorry to say Tudor but we don't have 25 senior players. As Bluedub says i think our PL squad will be only 22 players (with Onouha) + any under 21's and because of the CL rules i see a squad of 24 being selected - maybe Bridge will be included in both squads.

We have 21 senior players that Mancini wants, people's jaws will drop when they see we can't submit a squad list. Even if we throw Onuoha and Bridge on there, that is still only 23. It doesn't matter too much as we have those that don't have to register like Balotelli, Savic, Razak, and Assulin, but as Stuart Brennan pointed out recently we have less players than United and Chelsea despite the myth that we have 500 players.
