Silva Finds Extra Gears In England
Brilliant David Silva has spoken of how the Premier League has increased the rapidity of his play at a Spanish national team press conference...
'English football is quicker than everywhere else. It has helped to me to think quicker and to be in better shape physically. I now play more rapidly and have grown as a player.'
City's 25 year old playmaker in chief has also taken time out to sing the praises of two players of whom he infrequently enjoys swift interchanges of pass and move with:
'Aguero can contribute many things to the team and Tevez gave a lot for the team last season. With both of them we can challenge for the title...we are very hungry and hope to achieve a lot this year. We want to be in the fight for everything.'
There is every possibility that Aguero and Tevez will see plenty of service from Silva against Wigan on Saturday at The Etihad once arguably the finest player in the Premier League is through with Liechenstein.
