The Story Behind Garry Cook's Resignation

Video: It's been nearly 24 hours since news broke about Garry Cook's resignation as CEO of Manchester City but before the dust settles and we move on here's a taster of what Blues have been saying.

GaryCooksNapkin - what a muppet...has the man no morals whatsoever, the insensitive twat! What on earth am I going to call myself now?

PhillyBlueMoon - It's a shame it had to end this way. Something inside of me worries that Mr. Joorbashitstain has had a hand in this and is trying to snake his way into the club. I hope that's not the case and that the new CEO will keep that rat from getting his paws on anything.

That's not saying that I'm on his side. The fact that he sent the email is, in my opinion, unforgivable. The whole situation stinks, and I fear for the health of the club more than anything else.

Amazing how so many newswires do not report that the email was sent almost a year ago. They then fail to report that Joorabchian spoke about Onuoha to BBC Sport last month before denying he had anything to do with the player this month. City refused to subsidise Onuoha's wages at Everton and now Cook is out.
