MCFC Ready To Take Legal Action Against Hacks

City have announced through the official site that they are prepared to engage legal action against some of the more barrel scraping lies-fests published this weekend...

Contrary to what many erstwhile big four sympathsisers in The Street of Shame would have us believe, Manchester City is a soundly run club these days and is as powerful off the field as it is on it. A fact that certain hacks are about to discover.

The club confirmed via mcfc.co.uk:

'The club are seeking to redress fundamental inaccuracies, the distortion of facts, and a breach of basic journalistic good practice in a number of articles in today's media reports. In some instances legal action will be pursued, notably in the case of an article in The People by Steve Bates.'

Steve Bates = one of the many media scum in Baconface's pocket, every week anti-City/pro-United garbage. Hope City's legal action is thorough and goes beyond demanding a small-print apology.

Not the first time, probably not the last either. If the media continue to make up unfounded rubbish about it (anyone remember the Designer watch story in the S*n?) then we have every reason to take them to task. I really don't want the media to start brown-nosing us the way the do Lord Taggart and the rags, I just want them to stop the continual bias, fabrications and sensationalism that seems to be printed on a daily basis.

Bravo city. It would help if they let more fan based journalists into the press box.

Its overdue. It just shows how their comfort pedestals at Stretford are crumbling. It could be that some are being almost directed to belittle City by forces of scarlet.

Good. These "journalists" have gone too far and it's about time the club fights back. If they print lies and fabrications they will pay for it, and I hope dearly.
