I'm Not In Love, So Don't Forget It

We wondered how long it would take before Emmanuel Adebayor started talking Manchester City. Superstar moans aren't uncommon but this one is immensely disappointing...

The terrific support that the out on loan striker received from City and our supporters was outstanding in the wake of the horror he experienced during the terrorist attack on the Togo team bus during the Africa Cup of Nations in January 2010. The player was granted an indefinite leave of absence by a club hierarchy he has wasted no time in slating publicly once he scored a goal for Spurs.

Furthermore, the love he professed for us all following the staunch defence he received from our fans throughout prolonged vocal and worldwidewebbed abuse from Arsenal and Spurs fans during his time with us appears to have been rapidly forgotten.

Of course, he's fallen in and out of love with Arsenal and Real Madrid, too so it's only a matter of time before he throws his arms open to Spurs fans.

'It's too early to say whether I'll stay at Tottenham, but the love between Manchester City and myself is broken.'

Football and music are inextricably linked, especially where MCFC is concerned so what better way to wave definitively ta-ra to Ade than with the help of some of Manchester's finest songsmiths:
